So many people have different opinions about being gay. Some feel it's evil, some feel it's perverted, some people feel it's okay, some people have no feelings at all about it. A lot of people use the bible as a shield when talking about gays. Others are just personally disgusted. Though the world has changed a lot, there are still so much tension against gays.
Well i feel the only way you should EVER use the bible against gays are when you have and presently is living a sin free life. If a person has personal issues with gays then so be it. But i truly don't ever feel that it's right to try to use the bible when 98% of this country doesn't live by the bible.
Secondly, I feel like taking away a persons right just because of their sexual preference is wrong. A lot of people I know who don't even agree with the whole gay thing still feel being stripped of your rights is crap.
Instead of thinking "hey! in the bible it's wrong to be gay so they shouldn't have the right to be married in a church." Think about the rights they have the power to take away from YOU. Continue to let shit like this happen, and the country will continue to go down hill.
That's just my opinion. I'm not for, and definitely not against gays. It's just not my business who the hell is in their bed. My personal or social life has never been nor never will be disrupted if a gay person got married. Be serious.

In the bible it says that they burnt a whole town cause of gay people.That is there right of they wanted to burn a town down back then.NOw a days they use words to crush there hopes.I am not for gays but don't care what they do.It is there life and heart.Should they get married and be able to adopt?that is not my choice.But alot of things should change about it and laws but sad to say it wont.There is alot of bigger stuff going on.Like the VT shooting of 33 kids.Just let them be and live there life.
I agree but Jesus never once mentioned anything about gays in the bible. And he definitely didn't destroy the city of Sodom because of gays. He said they were being unkind and uncharitable to strangers. lol just had to clear that up
People are mixing the church/temple/mosque basically religion with the government... which is SUPPOSED to be seperate from the government... says so in the constitution... so why bring them together? Besides... the government acts like they run our personal lives... well except those in the military... but thats besides the point thats only 15% of the population... I love gay people... but I wont touch no female

I THINK YOUR COMPLETELY RIGHT BECAUSE THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FREE COUNRTY. BUT THERE ARE SO MANY FREEDOMS THAT WE ARE BEING STRIPPED FROM EVERY DAY. THE GOVERNMENT THESE DAYS CAN DO W/E IT WANTS AND KEEPS THE ILLUSION TO US THAT WE HAVE CONTROL OVER IT CAUSE A MAJORITY OF THE TIME WE DONT. THEY JUST COVER EVERYTHING UP WITH THE ANTITERRORISM ACT
